Buildability, repeatability, functional performance, prove-out requirements and ”productionization” are key drivers of component design or redesign.

Technical design is counterbalanced with commercial viability and a best-fit design is selected, with complete collaboration with our customers.

Topology optimization, monolithising child parts, reduction of joints, redoing flow paths, feature alterations, or simplification of features for faster turn around times.

All options are discussed, keeping in mind lifecycle costs, and post-processing complexities. Wipro 3D’s Design offerings are offered either as a standalone service, as a part of the complete component realization solution or as part of our entire adaption services.

Simulation & Digital Validation of designs is offered as a bundled service along with Additive Engineering.

We use in-house as well as our ecosystem capabilities to offer a validation of Additive Engineering designs or design alterations, through generic or domain specific simulation knowledge and software.

WE OFFER TWO APPROACHES TO THIS REQUIREMENT :

  • A gradual ramp up right from Consulting, Additive Design upto Prototyping and Manufacturing services, finally culminating in deployment of a captive AM centre.
  • Alternatively, right from the get-go, we design, Program manage, deploy and operate the captive AM centre with the eventual aim of handing over operations to the customer.

Wipro 3D has developed it’s own state-of-the-art solution centre, based on its learnings over the last 5 years and includes the entire set of learnings in this offering.

We also offer to operate as part of our utilization services, any existing infrastructure related to metal AM with a view to improving return on investments as well as building internal capabilities.
